The Prambanan Temple, representing the letter “I” by its side view, is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia. It was built in the year 850 AD by Rakai Pikatan from the Medang Kingdom as an offering to Trimurti, three of the most significant forms of Brahman: Brahma as the creator, Shiva as the destroyer, and Vishnu as the preserver. On the other hand, the Borobudur Temple, representing the letter “O” by its top view, is the largest Buddhist temple in the world.
